Look out! Old Man Winter is set to make an appearance here in Northern Arizona. Are you ready? Have you checked your tire tread lately? Windshield wipers in good shape? Do you have AM/PM’s number in your cell phone? 928-526-4357 Be careful out there. Even the lightest of snows can make the roads slick. Slow down and give extra space between you and that car in front of you.
We have already kicked off the holiday season here at AM/PM. We had our Festivus Party on November 3rd. We decided to do it early this year because the holiday season tends to get busy for us. Fun was had by all I think. But my memory is a little blurry.
Turkey Day is coming too. And with it lots of travellers. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. But don’t count on it. Plan ahead. Hit the road early if you can. And if you find yourself in a bind out there on the highway or even in town Flagstaff, don’t worry. AM/PM always has a dispatcher on duty to take your call and tow operaters ready to come save you–even on Thanksgiving.
Many residents of Flagstaff have a tradition on the weekend after Thanksgiving. They load everyone into the car, pack it with snacks and a thermos full of hot chocolate and head out to the woods. Their quest? The perfect Christmas tree. With all the snow that is expected be prepared. Make sure to take extra clothes, jackets and blankets. Let a friend know where you are going and when you expect to be back. Take your smart phone and turn on the GPS feature because if you find yourself stuck in the snow or mud out on some forest service road you can call AM/PM and give us your exact location. Our sister companies, Fort Valley Towing and Route 66 Recovery, have 4×4 recovery vehicles that can come to your rescue.
From all of us at AM/PM Towing, Route 66 Recovery, and Fort Valley Towing, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy this time with your family and friends.
